Siegfried Anzinger
Bilder 2011
In the works of Siegfried Anzinger, the shape design, wrapped in thin paint, is always unreal, it weighs and floats. It is as if one was dreaming the paintings. Around the loosely designed motif, the artist paints carefully, very sensitively, in such a way you can see how he lets himself be dragged along by the swaying and wavering of the brush, as if by a divining rod. That is exactly what we experience in his paintings: They allow us to dream. I look past the themes with which they begin, the paintings themselves invite us to do so! (Rudi Fuchs)
