HEADLINES (usw.)
Dieter Fuchs plays an important role in the city of Innsbruck as an artistic personality. A selection of works on all kinds of paper was on display in 2020 in his show HEADLINES (usw.) at Galerie Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman Innsbruck as well as the exhibtion catalogue. The drawings shown document the development of Dieter Fuchs’ work over the last 45 years. They were created daily, for hours in a disciplinary ritual, taking place in coffee houses and other public places. The accompanying 20-page text is written by Herbert Fuchs, who is Dieter’s twin brother and has critically observed his work for decades.
