HEADLINES (usw.)
Dieter Fuchs plays an important role in the city of Innsbruck as an artistic personality. A selection of works on all kinds of paper was on display in his show HEADLINES (usw.) at Galerie Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman in Innsbruck in 2020. The drawings document the artist's development of work over the last 45 years. They were created daily, for hours in a disciplinary ritual, taking place in coffee houses and other public places.
The homonymous publication, showing a selection of Fuchs' drawings in a faksimilie like reproduction was released in the course of the exhibition. It is accompanied with a 20-page text, written by Herbert Fuchs, who is Dieter’s twin brother and has critically observed his work for decades.
