Dow Jones
The graphic Dow Jones is a reference to the homonymous installation (2008) by the artist, preceded by a performance: The „aerial jumps“ and „falls“ of four jumping bankers on a trampoline.
The installation, then consists of a sewn, oversized doll in the shape of a stuffed man, that is lying headless and thrown onto the floor in banker’s clothing. A digital print above its head shows the lower part of the man’s body still with his feet on the ground and his hands grasping.
Dow Jones is a stock market crash transformed into an object.
