In continuation of the documentation of Walter Pichler’s artistic oeuvre by Residenz Verlag, this volume, produced in color throughout, follows directly on from the 1973 book of paperworks. Pichler’s drawings are, to him, precisely through their „unfinishedness“, through their seismographic openness, the possibly more definitive expression of his artistic stance. He is concerned with repetitive questions and with the formulation, the representation, the sketching of appropriate counter-questions.
